Built to shed water
A flat roof is only as good as its falls and upstands.
The membrane is the part you see. The falls, the insulation, the outlets and the dressed upstands are the parts that decide whether it lasts. We build every layer properly — from the deck up — so your new flat roof sheds water cleanly and weathers decades of British rain, not just the first winter.

Three systems, one crew
Felt, rubber or fibreglass — the right system for the roof.
We install all three leading flat roof systems and advise honestly on which suits your property, use and budget — never pushing one because it’s all we know.
Torch-On Built-Up Felt
Two or three layers of high-performance bitumen felt torched and bonded together, finished with a mineral surface. The proven, cost-effective flat roof — tough, flexible and easily patched, ideal for extensions, garages and dormers.
EPDM Rubber Membrane
A single seamless sheet of synthetic rubber bonded to the deck — no seams, no joints, no torches. EPDM shrugs off UV, ozone and temperature swings and routinely lasts 30 years plus, perfect for low-maintenance flat roofs.
GRP Fibreglass
A continuous resin and glass-fibre laminate laid wet over the deck and trims, curing to one seamless, joint-free skin. GRP is the premium choice — rigid, completely watertight and finished in any colour, ideal for balconies and roof gardens.
The finishes
Three membranes, each seamless.
From tough built-up felt to seamless EPDM rubber and rigid GRP fibreglass — we’ll match the finish to your roof, your use and your budget.
Torch-On Felt
Built-up bitumen felt torched in layers, finished with a mineral surface — the proven, cost-effective flat roof.

EPDM Rubber
A single seamless synthetic rubber sheet — no joints, no torches, UV-stable and built to last 30 years plus.

GRP Fibreglass
A continuous resin and glass-fibre laminate cured to one rigid, joint-free skin — the premium, seamless finish.
How we build it
Every layer, done properly.
From the deck to the last trim, one crew owns the whole flat roof — so no detail falls between contractors.
Survey, Deck & Falls
We inspect the existing structure, strip the old covering, and renew or repair the deck. Falls are set to a minimum 1:40 so water runs cleanly to the outlets — no ponding, no standing water, no premature failure.
Insulation & Vapour Control
A warm-deck build-up with rigid PIR insulation and a sealed vapour control layer keeps heat in and condensation out — meeting current Building Regulations and cutting your energy bills from day one.
Membrane — Felt, EPDM or GRP
Your chosen system is laid to spec: torch-on felt bonded in layers, a single EPDM sheet adhered seamless, or GRP fibreglass laminated wet and cured to one joint-free skin. The right system for the roof and the budget.
Outlets, Falls & Drainage
Stainless steel outlets, overflows and hoppers are dressed into the membrane, with the fall checked so every drop runs off. Internal or external drainage, sized to the roof area and the worst British downpour.
Upstands, Trims & Edge Details
Lead or GRP upstands at walls and parapets, aluminium edge trims and drips at the eaves — the details where flat roofs most often fail, dressed properly so water can never track back in.
Handover & Maintenance Brief
We walk you round the finished roof, leave the site spotless, register your warranty, and tell you the simple annual checks that keep a flat roof sound for its full design life.
Why it lasts
Six things every new flat roof gets.
A flat roof fails at its joints, its falls and its upstands. We build all three right — and back the whole roof in writing.

Beneath the membrane
The layers you never see.
Insulation, falls, outlets and edge trims are what make a flat roof last. Here’s what goes on before the membrane is laid.

Insulation & Vapour Control
Rigid PIR insulation boards and a sealed vapour control layer on a warm-deck build-up — keeping heat in, condensation out, and meeting Building Regulations.

Drainage & Outlets
Stainless steel outlets dressed into the membrane with the fall set to shed water — so rain runs off cleanly and never ponds on the finished roof.

Edge Trims & Drips
Aluminium edge trims and drips where the membrane meets the fascia — the detail that stops water tracking back in at the roof’s most vulnerable edge.

Word of mouth
Neighbours talk. Dry homes prove it.
“Corner Stone laid a new GRP fibreglass roof on our garage. Seamless, smart, and not a drop of water since. The crew explained every stage and the warranty is in writing. First-rate.”
“We chose EPDM for the extension flat roof after they talked us through the options. One seamless sheet, proper falls, and the insulation has made the room underneath noticeably warmer.”
“Torch-on felt on a dormer that had leaked for years. They stripped it, re-fall’d the deck, and laid three layers with new lead upstands. Two days, tidy, and a 20-year guarantee. Brilliant.”
